About Beth
Beth is a registered dietitian by training and a writer at heart. After earning a master's in nutrition, she worked as a clinical dietitian in a hospital for five years and then became a stay-at-home mom. While her children were small, she took writing courses and worked as a reporter for a local newspaper.
Like all registered dietitians, Beth is required to fulfill rigorous continuing education credits to keep her nutrition knowledge current. She often wears the "writer hat" and "nutritionist hat" together, researching and writing about food, nutrition and health topics.
